In which cases do you need an expert valuation report?
An expert valuation report plays an important role, for example, in execution or insolvency proceedings. The law determines whether a given situation requires an expert valuation report or whether a market price estimate (prepared by a property valuer rather than a court-appointed expert) is sufficient. An expert valuation report is also used for tax purposes or for financial settlements in inheritance proceedings.
Another situation where you will need an expert valuation report is when contributing real estate to a company’s registered capital. The report then serves as the basis for increasing the company’s share capital.
